Embodied Self-Esteem

A Body-Based Self-Esteem Intensive to Strengthen Self-Worth

Ongoing | 2 hour Intensive $225
In Person or Virtual

Low self-esteem can show up as negative self-beliefs, comparing yourself unfavorably to others, difficulty asserting yourself, trouble saying no, or feeling disconnected from your own needs and desires.

Often described as people-pleasing or fawning, these patterns may develop as adaptive responses to trauma, attachment wounds, chronic stress, or experiences in which staying connected, accommodating others, minimizing yourself, or avoiding conflict felt necessary for safety and belonging.

Embodied Self-Esteem is a two-hour experiential somatic intensive designed to help you understand these patterns with greater compassion—and begin developing a stronger, more embodied sense of self-worth.

Through psychoeducation, somatic psychotherapy, movement, body awareness, reflection, and experiential practices, you will explore how your nervous system has learned to respond to stress, conflict, relationships, and perceived threat.

Together, we will work toward developing greater self-awareness, self-trust, agency, self-efficacy, and belief in yourself.

In This Intensive, You Will:

  • Understand the relationship between trauma, attachment, chronic stress, the nervous system, and fawning/people-pleasing

  • Identify patterns of self-abandonment, over-accommodation, perfectionism, and difficulty expressing your needs

  • Increase awareness of emotions, sensations, impulses, and body cues

  • Practice somatic interventions that support regulation, self-efficacy, agency, and self-esteem

  • Explore boundaries as an embodied experience, rather than simply a communication skill

  • Practice recognizing and honoring your needs, preferences, values, and internal signals

  • Explore movement and body-based practices that support groundedness, presence, and confidence

  • Develop greater capacity to tolerate discomfort, take up space, and remain connected to yourself in relationships

  • Cultivate self-compassion while developing a stronger and more authentic sense of self

More Than Understanding—An Opportunity to Practice

This intensive is an opportunity to learn, feel, practice, and integrate.

Rather than simply talking about self-esteem, you will have the opportunity to experience what self-trust, agency, boundaries, and confidence can feel like in your body.

You will leave with practical somatic tools that can be incorporated into everyday life to support self-regulation, boundaries, self-trust, authentic expression, and a stronger relationship with yourself.

Body-based practices designed to increase awareness, regulation, agency, and embodied confidence.
